StraightLine has introduced a new line of side load beacon housings for Ditch Witch drills that solves the expensive problem relating to beacon retention and protection.
The 86 Series design begins with a beacon lid that is 1/8” thicker than existing designs. The lid is secured by a tab on one end and a security bolt on the other that limits the lid’s horizontal travel. The bulletproof design is secured by two anti-reversing bolts.
The 86 Series also includes a check valve to maintain clear mud passage port and is equipped with a convenient clean out ports that allow the user direct access to the main drilling fluid passage in the event of a blockage.
These housings are fully compatible with 86B and the new 86BV2 beacons. A beacon end conversion kit is included.
