What sets SureFlow apart from conventional fluid programs is its variable viscosity behavior. While the pump is running, the fluid stays thin and flows freely under pressure. The moment the pump shuts off, the fluid gels hard — hitting funnel viscosities of 200+ sec/Qt — suspending cuttings in place and preventing them from settling to the bottom of the bore. That means crews can pause a job without the costly consequences that come with cuttings accumulation, and the extreme gel strength also supports borehole stability and slows groundwater intrusion.

On the cost side, SureFlow reduces bentonite consumption by approximately 33% compared to a traditional mix. A standard fluid program using SureFlow requires only 8 ppb of bentonite to achieve a 65–70 viscosity mud, versus roughly 12 ppb with conventional additives. That reduction carries across freight, storage, labor, and waste — lowering the overall cost of the fluid program before the first foot is drilled. SureFlow is NSF approved and safe for use near sensitive environments.
